Are you interested in being an Elly Judge?
Elly judges are super-volunteers! An Elly judge will attend between 15 and 50 shows in a single year and travel hundreds of miles to theatres within a 70-mile radius of downtown Sacramento! Elly judges bring a variety of backgrounds and talents to the judging process. Many are currently active in theatre or have theatrical backgrounds as directors, actors, designers, technicians, playwrights or educators. (Remember: Judges may not be involved in any productions within the category they judge.) All judges share a love of the performing arts, a promise to be objective and a commitment to attending every show submitted in their category. SARTA provides all the necessary training and materials. If you are interesting in becoming an Elly judge, please contact the SARTA office at 916-443-8229.
