Iris

A newcomer to musical theater but no stranger to the stage, Iris Dimond comes with a mixed bag of theater experience. Most recently, Iris participated in the Old City Cemetery Lantern Tours as one of the cast of ghosts from Sacramento’s past who share their stories with the visitors during the October tours.

Iris’s first time singing and dancing on stage was at the age of 8. She has been performing in one way or another ever since. From grade-school chorus to high school choir and orchestra, Iris has enjoyed performing. A favorite role was part of the vocal chorus in a production of To Kill a Mockingbird with Sacramento City College Theater.

A Chicago native, Iris came to Sacramento and continued to find herself on stage, singing either as a lead or background voice, and finally dancing again as part of a middle-eastern dance troupe.  

Iris has shared her vocal talent most frequently with her church choir for both regular Sunday services and special holiday performances.
