2026 Microgrant Recipients
Golden State Performing Arts
GSPA received a Microgrant for their Sing-Dance-Act Summer Workshop. We're so excited to support this new group - don't miss their Heroes and Villains Cabaret, coming up in August!
Placer Community Theatre
Placer Community Theatre received a Microgrant as post-show compensation for "The Murder Room." Their next show is "They're Playing Our Song," opening in September!
Rise Up Theatre Company
Rise Up received a Microgrant to support their production of the musical "Company," which ran in June. Check out their production of "Avenue Q," starting in September!
Spectrum Stage
Formerly the Empire Arts Collective, Spectrum Stage received funding for their staged reading of "Artemesia and Hildegard: An Exorcism in One Act." Their next show is "Horse Girls," launching in September!
2026 YES Recipients
This year, SARTA awarded Youth Education Scholarships to six children between the ages of 6-14, giving a total of $1200 to partially or fully fund access to summer theatre programs. Our participating theatres are below - give them some support!
Davis Musical Theatre Company
DMTC offers a "Young Performers" season open to ages 7-17. They also recently relaunched their Storybook Theatre program!
Sierra Theatre Company
STC's Spotlight Players program offers learning opportunities for children ages 4-17 throughout the year!
River City Theatre Company
RCTC is a child-centered group empowering children in 1st-12th grade through musical theatre workshops throughout the year!
